Formed in 1997 as a small music project by Mick Annely and Dan Watts. We worked on and
co-produced each others song ideas. There have been various comings and goings of members/contributors and is now mainly just Mick Annely handling Guitars, Bass, Vocals and production.
The name for the band came courtesy of Brad Pitt in the 12 Monkeys film as used as one of many samples in our first completed song 'Deep space monkey', also featuring Richard E Grant.
That was soon followed up by 'Small town hero' which gained comparison to Underworld.
Next came 'Peter Shrimps' a tale of drunken regret and 'Big Bad Barry' a reference to all kinds of addiction.
With long and varied musical endeavours, from indie bands to Dub Reggae the music is always experimental and, hopefully, interesting.
There are no plans to form a group and tour at the moment but it would be a possibility if there was enough interest.
We hope you find something you like amongst all the 'flavours' on offer.
